For children and youngsters the German (federal) Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) promotes until 2017 projects related to cultural education under the program ‘Kultur Macht Stark’. This program encourages cultural activities, workshops and events organized outside the school environment inviting children of all nationalities, races and financial background to participate. For instance the initiative from Deutscher Bühnenverein – Bundesverband der Theater und Orchester ‘Zur Bühne’ offers 3 to 18-year old children and youngsters the experience of collective elaboration, and presentation in theaters and orchestras.
