Culture has always played a significant role in education for children as for adults. Around the world concrete initiatives have taken place in order to enhance the role of culture in education and vice versa.
Access to culture and education for instance is not always as easy as it sounds. A charity campaign in Estonia launched in 2011 named Aitan Lapsi offers access to cultural experiences to underprivileged children by donation buttons on vending machines. In 2014 alone 93.454,80€ were donated.
