Did you know that music can boost your health?  Researchers around the world have collected data proving that singing and choir participation may lead to an enhanced immune system and mental health.  ‘Swedish research has suggested that it not only increases oxygen levels in the blood but triggers the release of “happy” hormones such as oxytocin, which is thought to help lower stress levels and blood pressure’[1]. The European Choral Association has published through its magazine many relevant articles which connect wellness to music and singing.
